Multi-Faith Iftar

The Multi-Faith Iftar is the Abrahamic Reunion’s oldest and signature event, going back almost every year to 2008, bringing together hundreds of people from all faiths. For many, this is their first AR event in the Holy Land, a gateway to deeper understanding. Read more, photos, videos. 

Annual Peace Summit

Since 2018, the Abrahamic Reunion has convened many of the foremost of the region’s leaders in peacebuilding to deliver inspiring, momentous, and prescient speeches and prayers to hundreds of peacebuilders from around the country. It is a day of presentations, speeches, small-group dialogue, shared meal, and simple action for peace.

Women’s Peacebuilding Circle

The Abrahamic Reunion has held more than 13 Women-specific Peacebuilding Programs and Events, with 686 women participating and leading, since 2013. Read more

Young Peacebuilders

Since 2018 the Abrahamic Reunion has worked to support and develop the next generation of peacebuilders in Young Peacebuilders. Young adults and youth from different faiths and regions come together on peace journeys to visit each others’ lands and holy places, meet each others religious leaders, learn about each others’ faiths and traditions, and gain skills for becoming peace leaders.

Cultural Leaders in Peace

Working with religious leaders and educators from the different faith traditions, the Abrahamic Reunion develops a culture of peace by influencing the influencers. Leaders come together for dialogue, encounter, and through common religious and moral values, they discuss deeply the need of the day and how they can contribute to a culture of peace.

East & West Jerusalem Wisdom Exchange

In development. Clerics from East Jerusalem and Rabbis from West Jerusalem meet to form connections of common understanding through the study of each others’ texts. With Sheikh Ghassan Manasra and in partnership with Rabbi Shlomo Dov Rosen of Yakar Jerusalem.

Virtual Reality (VR) Peacebuilding

In partnership with the Paths To Peace (P2P) Foundation and the Peace Literacy Institute (PLI), Abrahamic Reunion has run several VR peacebuilding pilot projects in the Holy Land, finding ways to bring new hope and inspiration to the field of peacebuilding.

Online Programs: 

The Peace Vigil

A regular online peace prayer vigil that features religious, spiritual, and peace leaders from all traditions. Usually every 2 weeks, lasting 10-15 minutes, during the 2023 War and at other times of acute violence the Vigil has become a daily space of comfort, contemplation, and deep prayer. The Vigil espouses the AR’s vision of peace and safety for all people of the Holy Land, nonviolence, dialogue, education, and connection.

Unity Prayers from the Holy Land

Hour-long prayers on a particular theme that bring together leaders from all the different traditions for a single session. Topics covered include Love, Light, Forgiveness, Giving, Unity, and New Beginnings.

Taste of Peacemaking

A three-part series that featured male leaders in Part 1, female leaders in Part 2, and young leaders in Part 3, presented live, online. The leaders were prompted and interviewed, answered questions, and shared their prayers and thoughts on peace in the Holy Land.
