DESCRIPTION:Giving Tuesday Updates from the Holy Land Peacebuilders of the AR\nwith Sheikh Ghassan Manasra\, David Less\, Abed Manasra\, Chris Miller\, and friends\nGiving Tuesday\, December 3rd\, 11am-12pm EST  \nLive on Zoom — Join Zoom Meeting  (Click Here)\nDonate for Giving Tuesday — First $5\,000 in Donations will be matched!! \nSheikh Ghassan Manasra Recently returned from several months in the conflict zone\, where he made endless efforts\, often from a bomb shelter\, to  organize peace events\, connections\, build community\, support peacebuilders and leaders\, and influence the negotiations toward nonviolence and and an end to all the violence\, killing\, and bloodshed. \nThe AR organized an incredibly successful Intercultural Music Event in Tel Aviv\, with Rabbi Roberto Arbib’s community\, featuring Sufi and Jewish musicians including the renowned Yair Dalal\, singer of our beloved peace song\, “Zaman el Salam”\, which we play before most of our prayer vigils. \nSheikh Ghassan will share insights and updates from the Holy Land\, about the conflict\, and the evolving situation\, with updates and support from David Less\, music from Abed Manasra\, Chris Miller\, and others. \nGiving Tuesday is a Global Day of Generosity. For over a decade he was the Global Dean of the Universal Worship\, an organization in over thirty countries\,that honors the commonality in all religions and appreciates and respects the differences. He started promoting understanding rather than blame as a path to peace in the Holy Land in 2000 and was one of the founders of the Abrahamic Reunion shortly thereafter. He is an ordained Sheikh in the Qadiri Sufi Order in the Holy Land\, and son of Sheikh Abdel Salaam Manasra – head of the Qadiri Sufi Order in the Holy Land. He is the founder of Anwar-Il-Salaam\, the Lights of Peace Center in Nazareth\, and is Director\, Islamic Cultural Center in Nazareth.
