SUMMARY:Gathering with Khalil Albaz after the attack on Zoom with the AR Peacebuilders
DESCRIPTION:Ramadan Gathering with Khalil Albaz after the Attack\nOn Zoom with Sheikh Ghassan Manasra\, David Less\, Rabbi Nagen\, & other AR Peacebuilders\nThursday\, April 22nd\, 11:00 am EDT  /  4:00 pm London  /  6:00 pm Israel\nClick here to RSVP \n \nThank you to all who have responded so far to the attack on one of our Co-Founders\, Khalil Albaz\, Muezzein of the Bedouin Community in Tel Sheva. This was shocking to all of us — and our response\, to strengthen our peacebuilding\, is needed to show peacebuilders will not be intimidated by violence. \nIf you haven’t contributed but would like to\, you can click here to make a donation of any amount.  \nKnow that Khalil is well\, recovering at home with his wife and fellow AR Co-Founder Sana Albaz\, and that they have security watching over them. None of the five stab wounds threatened any of his vital organs or function\, thankfully\, as he was able to shout for help and protect himself until neighbors came outside and scattered the attackers. \nKhalil wants to share some of his experience and thoughts with the Abrahamic Reunion community on Zoom. As it’s Ramadan\, we’ll meet with Khalil before they break the fast in Israel\, and are having some nice food delivered to him and his family as part of the event for their Iftar (breaking of the fast) meal. \nPlease keep Khalil\, Sana\, and all the peacebuilders’ safety and health in your thoughts and prayers.

SUMMARY:Prayer For The Syrian People\, at the Syria Border with James Twyman
DESCRIPTION:PRAYER FOR THE SYRIAN PEOPLE\, SYRIAN BORDER\, W/ PEACE CONCERT BY JAMES TWYMAN\n\n\nThe Golan Heights\, on the Syrian border of Israel\, are often uncomfortably close to the fighting with Daesh. Visiting peace musician James Twyman will perform a concert\, and tomorrow\, Feb. 1st\, the Abrahamic Reunion will bring Jews\, Muslims\, Christians\, and Druze to pray focus prayers and thoughts for the suffering of the people of Syria. We will gather at the Mt. Bental and other lookout points overlooking southern Syria. \nJames Twyman is advertising this to the whole world\, and seeking to make this the largest synchronized peace vigil in history. See his email blast here. \nPlease join this email wherever you are:\n10am EST\n7am PST\n3pm London Time\n5pm Israel \nThere has become a rather grim trend in Golan Heights called “war-watching” – where tourists come to watch the fighting in Syria from these mountains\, some with chips\, beer\, and binoculars. We will use these overlooks to pray for the people of Syria. As Twyman writes on his website\, that prayer is “the most powerful force on Earth.” \nFrom Eliyahu McLean:\nIn 2004\, I joined a multi-faith journey led by peace musician James Twyman from Amman to Baghdad\, to pray for the peace of the Iraqi\, and Israeli\, people\, and the world. This is a picture of our gathering outside the National Theater in downtown Baghdad. This Monday\, Feb. 1\, thousands globally will send their focused prayers to join us again\, as we journey\, G-d willing\, Israelis\, Palestinians\, and internationals\, to pray for the Syrian people\, meters away from ISIS\, Nusra Front and Hizballah controlled territory on the Golan Heights border of southern Syria. Please join us in person\, or in intention\, for a ceasefire in Syria\, for the healing of the Syrian people\, and wider Abrahamic family. \nNews Article About The Peace Vigil: “Folk Singer To Go to Syria to Bring Peace to ISIS” \nVideo from James Twyman\n \nEvent Contact: Eliyahu McLean\, +972-(0)58-7578522 \n\nChecks should be made out to “The Abrahamic Reunion” and mailed to 2372 Arden Drive\, Sarasota FL 34232\n\nDonate by credit card over the phone: (941) 993-9994\n\nDonate Now To Support Peacemaking In The Holy Land – European Donations Click Here\n\nIn continual thanks\,\n\nChris Miller\nAbrahamic Reunion US Coordinator\nFor All The Abrahamic Reunion\n \n\n\nDonate To The Abrahamic Reunion Click Here
