She teaches young children. \n  \n  \n  \n \n\n\n\nDeacon Jiries Mansour\n\n\nDeacon Jiries Mansour is a Christian Arab\, deacon in the Greek Catholic Church\, and principal of St Anthony’s middle school in the town of Rama (Rame) in the Galilee. Under Jiries’ leadership\, a new school has been developed in Rama promoting interfaith tolerance. He has also organized numerous youth interfaith projects and events. Jiries is currently finishing his doctorate on the role of Christians in peace in the Middle East. \n\n\n\n\n\n  \n \nRabbi Dahlia Shaham\,\nRabbi Dahlia Shaham born and raised in Haifa\, has grown with Hebrew\, Arabic and English intertwined in her blood\, mind and heart. Graduate of Hebrew University Law School and the Fletcher School for Law and Diplomacy\, Dahlia has worked in policy research\, strategic planning and programming for  civil society organizations working to promote a shared\, peaceful society in Israel and the Middle East. The understanding that music and spirituality are as important to peace as justice and agreements has guided her to the rabbinic path. He has worked in interfaith dialogue and relations for decades in the Holy Land with Yakar and YESODOT in Jerusalem\, Herbew University\, as a Co-Founder and Co-Director of Anwar Al-Salaam Lights of Peace Society in Nazareth\, and in many programs with the Abrahamic Reunion\, hosting the 2017 Multifaith Iftar Dinner. He teaches Arabic Language & Literature formerly at Beit Safafa High School\, and currently at Kefar Eillut Secondary School.\n \nAnat Lev Or\nAnat Lev Or from Israel\, is a mother and spiritual teacher and companion for over 30 years. Anat accompanies people in the process of growth and change\, as well as businessmen through spiritual\, practical\, and business aspects.  Anat has been Ghassan Manasra’s partner for 25 years in building projects that are shared by all religions\, working as peacemakers and establishing study groups such as a program for teachers and school executives from all religions\, Muslims\, Christians\, and Jews. Sheikh Tamimi  serves as a coordinator of the Sha’ariya scholars and Imam’s court in the Palestinian territories and in Israel. SUMMARY:Interfaith Mystical Shabbat Dinner & Evening of Musical Prayer at the Abode
DESCRIPTION:Join the Peacemakers of the Abrahamic Reunion for a joyful and welcoming celebration of Shabbat with a Rabbi and Sheikh from the Holy Land. In this unique night\, we’ll share stories\, prayers\, the practice and meaning of Shabbat\, the welcoming of the Light and Shekinah\, and break bread and taste the fruit of the vine together. Dinner will be followed with a Zikr circle — literally “remembrance” — chanting\, singing\, and invoking the presence of the Divine One together\, featuring chanting in the Sufi and the Jewish traditions. Prayers for the peace of all religions\, and especially in the Holy Land\, will be remembered and offered in this non-political gathering of peace and friendship. All are welcome of any faith or tradition!\n—\nSheikh Ghassan Manasra is the International Director of the Abrahamic Reunion. He is an internationally recognized expert in interreligious dialogue and has been a front-line peacemaker in the Holy Land for over 30 years. He’s an ordained Sheikh in the Qadriyya Tariqat As-Salaam of the Holy Land. \nRabbi Mordechai Zeller is a UK Trustee for the Abrahamic Reunion. An Israeli Rabbi\, Mordechai is currently at Cambridge University in the UK as a campus Chaplain\, and is a longtime peacemaker at AR events.\n—\nTickets for the evening are $30 which covers the cost of food as well as a contribution to the Abrahamic Reunion. DESCRIPTION:Dear Friends of Peace\,\n\nYou are invited to an interfaith peace vigil and prayer service at Unity of Sarasota\, 7:20pm\, Wednesday\, June 15th. \n\nThe Abrahamic Reunion has been creating interfaith dialogue and discussion group meetings around Sarasota for the last five months\, working with the local Mosque (ISSB)\, Temple Sinai\, Temple Beth Sholom\, Unity of Sarasota\, St. Thomas More Catholic Church\, and Rising Tide International.\nWe will be joined by clergy and congregations from the different faiths. \nHere is the invitation from Reverend Elizabeth who offered to host this impromptu prayer vigil to support the LGBTQ community\, to pray for the victims and families affected by the shooting\, and to pray in solidarity with our local Muslim community.\n\n\n\nOn behalf of the Abrahamic Reunion I invite you to a Prayer Vigil Wednesday Evening at Unity of Sarasota at 7:20 PM in the Sanctuary. We pray with our feet\, our hands\, our hearts\, and our being as the temple of Love Expressed in peace.
