Born in Jerusalem\, she serves the community of Nigun Halev in the Jezreel Valley. She is committed to promoting dialogue\, friendship and respect in the Holy Land. Rabbi Leora is married to Amit and has three sons.\n \n \n\nAbed Manasra\nSheikh Abed Alsalam Manasra is the Israeli Programs Director for the Abrahamic Reunion. He is an ordained Sheikh in the Tariqat Qadriyya As-Salaam (Qadiri Sufi Order Of Peace in the Holy Land)\, in which his father is also a Sheikh\, and his Grandfather\, Abdelsalam Manasra\, is the Head Sheikh. He is a musician\, performing classical Arabic and Sufi music and hymns with his wife\, and works with young adults and youth to organize interfaith dialogue and gatherings in and around Nazareth. Abed@abrahamicreunion.org\n \nMalkon Marizian\nIs an Armenian Christian youth peacebuilder from East Jerusalem\, who helps the AR as a translator for many events\, and is a longtime participant in the Abrahamic Reunion. Studied for an MSc in Human Rights from London School of Economics and Political Sciences\, and has worked in projects helping Palestinian and Syrian refugees\n \nRabbi David Zaslow\nServes as Rabbi of Havurah Shir Hadash in Ashland\, Oregon\, where he has hosted Sheikh Ghassan Manasra of the Abrahamic Reunion. Rabbi David Zaslow was born in Brooklyn\, New York in 1947. He was ordained in 1995 by Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi under the supervision and mentorship of Rabbi Aryeh Hirschfield. In the summer of 1996 he became spiritual leader of the Havurah\, which was founded in June 1985. In 2003 he completed his term as a Spiritual Advisor to ALEPH\, the umbrella organization of the Jewish Renewal movement. He is a longstanding interfaith advocate and leader.  \nNobar Voskerijan\nNobar Voskerjian\, a music artist from Bethlehem\, holds a Master’s in Music Education from Hebrew University of Jerusalem\, and is a professor of music at the Armenian School in Jerusalem and Dar al-Kalima School in Bethlehem. He also work as a music therapist for people with special needs.\n \n \n\nRimon Sabbagh\nRimon is a Christian Palestinian from Ramallah. He is graduated from Bir Zeit University studying Political Science and International Relations\, and is one of the members and founders of the Greek Catholic Youth Movement in Ramallah. He is engaged in the peace and cultural activities movements\, is a part of the Abrahamic Reunion’s Cultural Leaders in Peace Training (Youth Cohort) and is a musician.\n \n \nHOSTS: \n \nSheikh Ghassan Manasra\, International Director of the Abrahamic Reunion\, oversees programming in the Holy Land and Internationally since 2015. He was one of the Abrahamic Reunion’s Co-Coordinators in the Holy Land from 2014-2015\, before moving to the US with his family\, and has been an active contributing Peacemaker with the AR for more than a decade. He is an ordained Sheikh in the Qadiri Sufi Order in the Holy Land\, and son of Sheikh Abdel Salaam Manasra – head of the Qadiri Sufi Order in the Holy Land. He is the founder of Anwar-Il-Salaam\, the Lights of Peace Center in Nazareth\, and is Director\, Islamic Cultural Center in Nazareth. Ghassan is an expert and lectures in Islam\, Islamic history\, Sufism\, and contemporary Muslim issues in the Middle East\, Europe\, and the USA. Ghassan@abrahamicreunion.org\n \nDavid Less is a global teacher of meditation\, conflict resolution and inter-faith dialog of over forty years. For over a decade he has been the Global Dean of the Universal Worship\, an organization in over thirty countries\,that honors the commonality in all religions and appreciates and respects the differences. He started promoting understanding rather than blame as a path to peace in the Holy Land in 2000 and was one of the founders of the Abrahamic Reunion shortly thereafter.

We are hosting him and he is going to be giving a talk this week at Rising Tide International (5102 Swift Rd\, Sarasota 34231) this Saturday about the Abrahamic Reunion\, Peacemaking\, and he will share his story and about the Bedouin peoples of the Holy Land.\n\nKhalil is a voice and force for peace\, the manager and Muezzein of the first Bedouin Mosque in Israel\, the Spokesman for his community\, and has traveled to multiple Parliament of the World’s Religions (Barcelona\, Salt Lake\, Toronto). He has his PhD in Arabic Studies from Bar-Ilan University. \nDvora Haitsook-Shani\, Givatayim \nDvora is a fierce believer in narrowing political\, national\, and religious tensions through cross-religious meetings\, discussions\, and cultural activity. She is a Coordinator of the TRUST WIN\, a member of the  Women’s Parliament and various orgaizations for dialogue and understanding between the cultures\, and for the advancement of women and social issues affecting women.  She is a Druze spokeswoman representing Druze women in national forums. \nAbed Alsalam Manasra \nSheikh Abed Alsalam Manasra is the son of Sheikh Ghassan Manasra. He is an ordained Sheikh in the Tariqat Qadriyya As-Salaam (Qadiri Sufi Order of Peace). He is a musician\, performing with his wife Israa\, and family\, and works with youth and young adults to organize interfaith dialogue and gatherings in the Holy Land. DESCRIPTION:  \nDear Friends\, \nWe are excited to bring into to our 18th Annual Multifaith Iftar In the Holy Land for Peace via Zoom Livestream! \nWhile conflict escalates across the Holy Land and tensions are heightened\, the Peacemakers of the Abrahamic Reunion are bringing people together to show and strengthen peace\, interfaith connection\, and human familyhood. \nOver 200 Muslims\, Jews\, Christians\, and Druze Israelis and Palestinains will join together in an Iftar meal\, the time of breaking the daily fast during Ramadan for Muslims.
