Grizim\, Dr. Cohen is the West Bank Founder of the Samaritan Legend Association\, which facilitates workshops and lectures around the world teaching about the Samaritan community and using it as an example of coexistence and peace. He founded the Samaritan Youth Club. Jacob is the speaker on behalf of his father\, The High Priest of the Samaritan community\, and is considered a representative of the community outside the country. He has been featured in Forbes magazine as the manager of Har Bracha Tahini\, and been a speaker at the Parliament of the World’s Religions and numerous Abrahamic Reunion peacebuilding events. \n  \nSheikh Ghassan Manasra \nSheikh Ghassan Manasra is the Abrahamic Reunion’s International Director\, and has worked in interfaith peacemaking in the Holy Land\, and around the world\, for more than 38 years.  He is a second-generation peacemaker following in the footsteps of his father\, the scholar and Sufi Sheikh\, Abdelsalam Manasra. \nHe is an ordained Sheikh in the Qadiri Sufi Order of Peace in the Holy Land\, the founder of Anwar-Il-Salaam\, the Lights of Peace Center in Nazareth\, and was a founder and the Director of the Islamic Cultural Center in Nazareth. \nGhassan is able to build bridges and re-connect peoples because he feels himself to be part of every people\, and family with every human being. He looks forward to the time when all human beings will share in this feeling and live in peace together\, one with the other\, sharing in the beauty of the diversity of this world.

Anat accompanies people in the process of growth and change\, as well as businessmen through spiritual\, practical\, and business aspects. Anat has been Ghassan Manasra’s partner for 25 years in building projects that are shared by all religions\, working as peacemakers and establishing study groups such as a program for teachers and school executives from all religions\, Muslims\, Christians\, and Jews. \nSheikha Najah Kabaha\, Nazareth\, Co-Chair \n\n\n\n\n\n\nSheikha Umm Bra’a Najah Kabaha is a leader in the Muslim community who lives in the city of Nazareth\, the largest Arab city in Israel. She has worked for interfaith understanding and dialogue through the Qadiri Tariqat as-Salaam\, the Lights of Peace Society\, and the Abrahamic Reunion for many years. She also teaches children and early childhood. \n\n\n\nImam Dr. Khalid Abu Ras\, Ilut \n\n\n\nDr. Khalid is the Imam of Al-IMAN Mosque in Ilut\, outside Nazareth\, in the North of Israel\, an educator\, Arabic Language and Literature teacher in High Schools and Secondary Schools\, and has worked for YESODOT Center for Torah & Democracy in Jerusalem\, Anwar al-Salaam the Lights of Peace Association Founder & Co-Director in Nazareth\, Yakar Center in Jerusalem\, and many other interfaith and intercultural initiatives over the last 25 years. He has his PhD in Arabic Studies from Bar-Ilan University. \nDvora Haitsook-Shani\, Givatayim \nDvora is a fierce believer in narrowing political\, national\, and religious tensions through cross-religious meetings\, discussions\, and cultural activity. She is a photographer\, curator\, and professor and teacher of photography at such places as the College of Geographical Photography\, Tel-Aviv Artists House\, Tel-Aviv Museum Art School\, Beit Ekstein Ramat Gan\, Ort Hermelin College\, and others. She is happily married and the mother of three children. \n\n\n\nFr. Nael Abu Rahmoun\, Nazareth \n\n\n\nFr. Nael is the Vicar of Nazareth for St. George’s Episcopal Church. He completed his theological studies in Rome At Angelicum/Pontifical University of Thomas Aquinas\, and has served churches in Zababdeh (West Bank)\, East Jerusalem\, and Ramallah before returning to his hometown of Nazareth. He has been part of the Abrahamic Reunion for over 10 years\, and loves to remind the world that\, “God is inclusive!” \n\n\n\nSiham Halabi\, Daliat al-Carmel \n\nSiham Halabi is a Druze leader and the Director of the Women’s Program and Adult Education at the Daliat Al Carmel Community Center providing courses in women’s economic empowerment\, home management\, drivers education\, Hebrew and Arabic languages\, social activism\, and interfaith understanding. She is a Coordinator of the TRUST WIN\, a member of the  Women’s Parliament and various orgaizations for dialogue and understanding between the cultures\, and for the advancement of women and social issues affecting women.  She is a Druze spokeswoman representing Druze women in national forums. \nAbed Alsalam Manasra \nSheikh Abed Alsalam Manasra is the son of Sheikh Ghassan Manasra. He is an ordained Sheikh in the Tariqat Qadriyya As-Salaam (Qadiri Sufi Order of Peace). He is a musician\, performing with his wife Israa\, and family\, and works with youth and young adults to organize interfaith dialogue and gatherings in the Holy Land. Abed@abrahamicreunion.org \n\nSheikh Ghassan Manasra\, Nazareth / Florida \n\n\n\nSheikh Ghassan Manasra\, International Director of the Abrahamic Reunion\, oversees programming in the Holy Land and Internationally since 2015. He was one of the Abrahamic Reunion’s Co-Coordinators in the Holy Land from 2014-2015\, before moving to the US with his family\, and has been an active contributing Peacemaker with the AR for more than a decade\, and in the Holy Land in many organizations for over 35 years.He is an ordained Sheikh in the Qadiri Sufi Order in the Holy Land\, and son of Sheikh Abdel Salaam Manasra – head of the Qadiri Sufi Order in the Holy Land. He is the founder of Anwar-Il-Salaam\, the Lights of Peace Center in Nazareth\, and is Director\, Islamic Cultural Center in Nazareth. We are hosting him and he is going to be giving a talk this week at Rising Tide International (5102 Swift Rd\, Sarasota 34231) this Saturday about the Abrahamic Reunion\, Peacemaking\, and he will share his story and about the Bedouin peoples of the Holy Land.\n\nKhalil is a voice and force for peace\, the manager and Muezzein of the first Bedouin Mosque in Israel\, the Spokesman for his community\, and has traveled to multiple Parliament of the World’s Religions (Barcelona\, Salt Lake\, Toronto). He was stabbed 7 times last year\, and has been threatened and attacked for peacemaking and standing for peace.\n\nWe hope that you’ll join us — all donations for the event will go to the Abrahamic Reunion!\n(And a bit to Rising Tide for hosting the event)\n\nKhalil will be in Ft. His commitment to peace and justice have led him to participate in regular interfaith meetings throughout the Holy Land. Khalil took part in the annual Bearing Witness retreat in Auschwitz. He is a co-founder of the Abrahamic Reunion with his late wife\, Sana Albaz\, and has been a passionate voice for peace in the Negev and Holy Land for decades.

Born in Jerusalem\, she serves the community of Nigun Halev in the Jezreel Valley. She is committed to promoting dialogue\, friendship and respect in the Holy Land. Rabbi Leora is married to Amit and has three sons.\n \n \n\nAbed Manasra\nSheikh Abed Alsalam Manasra is the Israeli Programs Director for the Abrahamic Reunion. He is an ordained Sheikh in the Tariqat Qadriyya As-Salaam (Qadiri Sufi Order Of Peace in the Holy Land)\, in which his father is also a Sheikh\, and his Grandfather\, Abdelsalam Manasra\, is the Head Sheikh. He is a musician\, performing classical Arabic and Sufi music and hymns with his wife\, and works with young adults and youth to organize interfaith dialogue and gatherings in and around Nazareth. Abed@abrahamicreunion.org\n \nMalkon Marizian\nIs an Armenian Christian youth peacebuilder from East Jerusalem\, who helps the AR as a translator for many events\, and is a longtime participant in the Abrahamic Reunion. Studied for an MSc in Human Rights from London School of Economics and Political Sciences\, and has worked in projects helping Palestinian and Syrian refugees\n \nRabbi David Zaslow\nServes as Rabbi of Havurah Shir Hadash in Ashland\, Oregon\, where he has hosted Sheikh Ghassan Manasra of the Abrahamic Reunion. Rabbi David Zaslow was born in Brooklyn\, New York in 1947. He was ordained in 1995 by Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi under the supervision and mentorship of Rabbi Aryeh Hirschfield. In the summer of 1996 he became spiritual leader of the Havurah\, which was founded in June 1985. In 2003 he completed his term as a Spiritual Advisor to ALEPH\, the umbrella organization of the Jewish Renewal movement. He is a longstanding interfaith advocate and leader.  \nNobar Voskerijan\nNobar Voskerjian\, a music artist from Bethlehem\, holds a Master’s in Music Education from Hebrew University of Jerusalem\, and is a professor of music at the Armenian School in Jerusalem and Dar al-Kalima School in Bethlehem. He also work as a music therapist for people with special needs.\n \n \n\nRimon Sabbagh\nRimon is a Christian Palestinian from Ramallah. He is graduated from Bir Zeit University studying Political Science and International Relations\, and is one of the members and founders of the Greek Catholic Youth Movement in Ramallah. He is engaged in the peace and cultural activities movements\, is a part of the Abrahamic Reunion’s Cultural Leaders in Peace Training (Youth Cohort) and is a musician.\n \n \nHOSTS: \n \nSheikh Ghassan Manasra\, International Director of the Abrahamic Reunion\, oversees programming in the Holy Land and Internationally since 2015. He was one of the Abrahamic Reunion’s Co-Coordinators in the Holy Land from 2014-2015\, before moving to the US with his family\, and has been an active contributing Peacemaker with the AR for more than a decade. He is an ordained Sheikh in the Qadiri Sufi Order in the Holy Land\, and son of Sheikh Abdel Salaam Manasra – head of the Qadiri Sufi Order in the Holy Land. He is the founder of Anwar-Il-Salaam\, the Lights of Peace Center in Nazareth\, and is Director\, Islamic Cultural Center in Nazareth. Ghassan is an expert and lectures in Islam\, Islamic history\, Sufism\, and contemporary Muslim issues in the Middle East\, Europe\, and the USA. Ghassan@abrahamicreunion.org\n \nDavid Less is a global teacher of meditation\, conflict resolution and inter-faith dialog of over forty years. He has worked in interfaith dialogue and relations for decades in the Holy Land with Yakar and YESODOT in Jerusalem\, Hebrew University\, as a Co-Founder and Co-Director of Anwar Al-Salaam Lights of Peace Society in Nazareth\, and in many programs with the Abrahamic Reunion\, hosting the 2017 Multifaith Iftar Dinner. He is currently a fellow at the Hartman Institute.\n\nRabbi Shraga Bar-On\, Hartman Institute\n\n\nRabbi Dr. Shraga Bar-On is the Director of the Kogod Research Center for Contemporary Jewish Thought and the David Hartman Center for Intellectual Excellence\, and a lecturer of Talmud and Jewish Thought at Shalem College.\n\nAt the David Hartman Center\, he is responsible for the advanced training of aspiring public intellectuals through the Beit Midrash for Israeli Rabbis\, the David Hartman postdoctoral fellowship\, and the Maskilot fellowship for women pursuing their doctorate. His research in Jewish philosophy and identity addresses a wide range of eras and topics: Second Temple literature\, Mishnaic and Talmudic scholarship\, medieval Jewish literature\, early Zionism\, and contemporary Jewish identity. His books and other works have been published in academic\, popular\, and educational contexts.\n\n\n Druze Sheikh Yunes Amasha\n\nSheikh Amasha\, a native of the town of Ussefiya in the north of Israel\, is a Druze religious leader. As Imam of his community\, Sheikh Amasha is responsible for conducting religious rituals. He is also a member of the Supreme Druze Religious Council in Israel\, headed by spiritual leader Sheikh Mowafaq Tarif.\n\nSheikh Amasha\, one of the Druze members of Beit Morasha’s Municipal Forum for Interfaith Leaders from Mixed Cities\, has now been appointed to the important position of Forum Coordinator.\n\n\n\n\n\nAsked why he had originally joined the Forum\, Sheikh Yunes replied: “The Druze are a peace-loving people\, favoring any initiative that promotes relations based on tolerance\, understanding and acceptance of others. Personally\, having lived all my life in a mixed town\, and often working with members of other communities\, I have come to know Israelis from all ethnicities. She is one of the young leaders of the interfaith movement in the Holy Land\, and she began walking this way of peace in high school. He is an ordained Sheikh in the Qadiri Sufi Order in the Holy Land\, and son of Sheikh Abdel Salaam Manasra – head of the Qadiri Sufi Order in the Holy Land. He is the founder of Anwar-Il-Salaam\, the Lights of Peace Center in Nazareth\, and  is Director\, Islamic Cultural Center in Nazareth.
