DESCRIPTION:In this interactive workshop\, participants will have an opportunity to experience how the mystical traditions of both Judaism and Sufism are able to transform the human being at the deepest level. The inner aspects of the religious and mystical teachings help us to connect and create a healthy emotional balance as well as bringing the soul in greater connection with our everyday life. \nRabbi Michael Rosenfeld-Shueller\, originally from the US\, has been active in interfaith dialogue groups\, both locally in Oxford\, where he is the Jewish chaplain at the University\, and nationally. He provides the students with regular\, vibrant sessions on Jewish philosophy and texts. \nSheikh Ghassan Manasra is an ordained Sheikh in the Qadiri Sufi Order in the Holy Land. He is the founder of Anwar-Il-Salaam\, the Lights of Peace Centre in Nazareth\, Director of the Islamic Cultural Center in Nazareth. He is a world renowned authority on Islam\, Islamic history\, Sufism\, and contemporary Muslim issues in the Middle East\, Europe\, and the USA. \nNigel Hamilton\, DRI & CCPE\, Ph.D.\, Dipl. Clinical Psychotherapy and Social Psychiatry serves as the co-founder and Director of the Centre for Counselling & Psychotherapy Education and the Dream Research Institute. He has run dream workshops\, trainings and retreats in the UK and abroad for many years. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text] \nApril 13th – April 25th\, 2018\nJoin David Less\, Anna Less\, and the Peacemakers of the Abrahamic Reunion in the Holy Land for an unforgettable and powerful journey of hands-on\, participatory\, volunteer peace-building in the Holy Land. The Abrahamic Reunion – a group of Jewish\, Muslim\, Christian\, and Druze peacemakers – are offering a week of events called Healing the Heart of the Holy Land\, which this tour will support and be part of. \nThis tour will participate in and support Healing the Heart\, offering an intimate experience of multi-faith peace-building\, solidarity\, and healing work\, and give you a chance to bring your own prayerful heart\, compassionate glance\, kind actions\, and healing insight to support and help the transformation of separation into friendship. Everyone on this tour will be part of the process of building peace in the Holy Land – your participation and support of the peacemakers will help to make this vision of peace a reality and there will be hands-on ways each day we will engage peace-building. \nIn addition\, the tour will take several days to visit sacred locations to all faiths\, meet peacemakers and religious leaders individually\, and enjoy the beauty\, atmosphere\, nature\, and powerful spiritual resonance of the Holy Land in Jerusalem\, the Galilee\, and the beaches of Tel Aviv. \nDaily meditations\, practices of different religious and spiritual traditions\, and group sharing ∓ processing circles will round out the spiritual container for the important work being done on this journey. \nPeace\, Salaam\, Shalom – May peace prevail in the Holy Land and the Earth.A note on the Healing the Heart in the Holy Land Programs: \nThese programs are currently being organized and the exact order of the programs will be available soon. Programs to be included: \n\nHealing Peace Journey with 100+ Israelis and Palestinians & the Peacemakers to pray with and offer comfort and connection to victims and those who have suffered loss in the conflict – Jews\, Muslims\, Druze\, Christians\, Bedouins\nHealing Peace Journeys with the Peacemakers\, as above\, but without soe many participants from Israel & Palestine\n1-day Young Peacemakers Training Program – the AR group will support this event\nWomen’s Peace Retreat – female tour participants are invited to join this event\nRegional AR Events involving local peacemakers\, leaders\, and local interreligious peace councils in East Jerusalem\, Shefar’am\, Nazareth\, the Negev\, and the West Bank. Everyone on this tour will be part of the process of building peace in the Holy Land – your participation and support of the peacemakers will help to make this vision of peace a reality and there will be hands-on ways each day we will engage peace-building. \nIn addition\, the tour will take several days to visit sacred locations to all faiths\, meet peacemakers and religious leaders individually\, and enjoy the beauty\, atmosphere\, nature\, and powerful spiritual resonance of the Holy Land in Jerusalem\, the Galilee\, and the beaches of Tel Aviv. \nDaily meditations\, practices of different religious and spiritual traditions\, and group sharing ∓ processing circles will round out the spiritual container for the important work being done on this journey. \nPeace\, Salaam\, Shalom – May peace prevail in the Holy Land and the Earth.A note on the Healing the Heart in the Holy Land Programs: \nThese programs are currently being organized and the exact order of the programs will be available soon. We’ll enjoy a Jewish musical offering from Noam Brown\, Christian music that’s fun to sing along with by Kalimba & Friends\, and an hour-long set by Elahi\, a Middle East Musical Ensemble led by Sheikh Abedelsalam and Isra Manasra\, Son and Daughter-in-law of Sheikh Ghassan Manasra\, AR International Executive Director. \nSheikh Ghassan Manasra will also provide interfaith inspirational messages about the work of the Abrahamic Reunion\, a group of Religions & Spiritual Peacemakers (Muslim\, Christian\, Jewish\, and Druze) dedicated to bridging the divides in Israel & Palestine. \nFree to all!
