DESCRIPTION:Please join a bus of Israelis and Palestinians\, from Jerusalem\, the West Bank and the Galilee\, who are to be welcomed by the monks and nuns for an interfaith solidarity visit at Tabgha monastery and Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes. \nSome rooms of the monastery and gift shop were torched in a hate crime\, an arson attack on June 18th. This is one of the most important holy places for Christianity and Catholicism in the world. DESCRIPTION:Join the Abrahamic Reunion for a multi-faith Chanukah journey to Mt. Grizim\, also called Har Bracha/Mt. of Blessings. We will travel together\, Jews\, Christians and Muslims\, Israeli Jews and Palestinians from East Jerusalem\, Hebron\, Bethlehem and the Nablus region for a joint visit and encounter at the Mt. of Blessings. Mt. Grizim is a neutral space\, Area C\, where both sides can access and meet freely\, G-d willing. \nAt Mt. Grizim we will meet with the Samaritans/Shomronim\, have a Jewish-Muslim-Christian-Samaritan muiti-faith program\, including:\n– a tour of the Museum of Samaritan history\, meeting the Kohen HaGadol (High Priest)\, tour and prayer for peace at the ancient Samaritan temple on Mt. Grizim and overlook above Joseph’s Tomb/Kever Yosef. We will light Chanukah candles and host an inter-faith panel at a meeting place\, accompanied by Jewish and Arab musicians\, dedicating the sixth night to spreading the light of inter-religious harmony in the Holy Land. \n[rescue_toggle title=”Schedule”] \n7:30 AM – Meet and travel from Gan HaPa’amon/Liberty Bell parking lot\, in Jerusalem\n9:30-11:00 – Meeting at central community center in Grizim\nMulti-faith encounter: Meet the High Priest of Samaritan community\, then facilitated dialogue circles\, separate women’s circle with Samaritan woman\n11:00-12:00 – Tour of the Samaritan museum\n12:00-1:00 – Lunch\n1:00- 3:00 – Walking tour of the town\, visit the site of the Pesach sacrifices\, then the ancient Samaritan temple and archeological site\, prayer for peace at lookout point opposite Mt.
