Several peacemakers from the Abrahamic Reunion were in attendance and helped organize the Second Big Hug of Jerusalem event on June 24th 2008, brought together over 800 Palestinians, Israelis and internationals to Hug the Old City of Jerusalem, in a prayer for unity and peace between all the lovers of Jerusalem. People gathered at two meeting points: at Shuk il Fallahin, under the palm trees above Damascus Gate, and at Gan HaBonim garden below Jaffa Gate. They spread out joining hands around the Old City walls. Then everyone gathered on the steps of the Damascus Gate. The final event was a drum circle just above New Gate.
