The Abrahamic Reunion hosted the ‘Healing Abraham’s Family’ journey on September 14, 2014, going to Faradis, Zichron Yaakov, and Haifa. Israelis and Palestinians from Jerusalem and the Galilee joined for a day of ‘being human’ together. The trip included a Jewish-Muslim text study of sources on ‘repentance’ at the Tent of Sarah and Hagar, shared lunch and a peace concert in Zichron Yaakov, a walk in the Bahai gardens and healing prayers in Elijah’s Cave- in Haifa, and unity gathering on the beach of Jizr il-Zarka at sunset. In the aftermath of the recent war, and ongoing tensions in Jerusalem, this day inspired everyone to not give into the fear and separation.
