2022 Multifaith Iftar Dinner Fundraiser

Ramadan + Easter + Passover Fundraiser Help us raise $30,000 for 4 Multifaith Iftar Dinners

This April, the Abrahamic Reunion is organizing Four (4) Multi-faith Iftar Dinners across the Holy Land. With a functioning Israeli Nonprofit, the AR has been able to expand our Ramadan offering this year to respond to the perceived need on the ground to rebuild trust after an aggrieved pandemic full of dissonance and violence in Israeli mixed cities. These Iftars will bring hundreds of new participants in contact with the Abrahamic Reunion.

  • Tel Aviv / Jaffa Iftar Dinner: Cooked in Old Jaffa (the historic Arab port in Tel Aviv) and hosted by Rabbi Roberto Arbib and his congregation at their Synagogue, this Ramadan Dinner will feature academics, religious scholars, and discussion circles for all participants.
  • Jericho West Bank Palestinian Iftar Dinner: Hosted in one of the Oldest Cities in the World, the Abrahamic Reunion will bring together 100 Christians, Muslims, and Samaritans for a magnificent show of interfaith support, connection, friendship, and celebration. The AR will demonstrate Virtual Reality (VR) peacebuilding programs to the clergy and participants of this Iftar.  Hosting an Iftar in the Palestinian West Bank has become an AR tradition in parallel to our Multifaith Dinner in Israel.
  • Daliat al-Carmel Druze Iftar Dinner: Siham Halabi and the Druze Community will host this Iftar Dinner in the North of Israel near Haifa, welcoming all people into the Druze Community Center for a feast of interconnection, dialogue, and understanding.
  • Nazareth Grand Iftar: This Iftar will feature high-level government officials, ambassadors, religious and community leaders from across the Holy Land, an art display, VR (Virtual Reality) demonstration, dialogue and discussion, all at a premier hotel in Nazareth, a city that was heavily afflicted by violence and uprising during the last year. The AR peacemakers have noted the importance of bringing leaders and participants specifically to Nazareth for healing and rebuilding trust.
