Photos from our Multifaith #IftarTogether Dinner for #Peace in Jericho #Palestine last week!!!

Amidst a backdrop of violence clashes and simmering conflict in the #HolyLand, and only days after another Palestinian death in a raid in Jericho near the gathering, 102 Palestinian Muslims and Christians came together in Jericho for a #Multifaith #Iftar Dinner to celebrate #Ramadan.

This was our first Iftar in Palestine since the Pandemic, in person — thanks to the 77 donors helping to make this possible!! (If you want to support, link is below.)

The people came from across the Palestinian West Bank seeking to gather in strength, hope, and community and to create cooperation, #dialogue, and connection, and to affirm that even amidst conflict, nonviolent solutions for peace are possible in the Holy Land.

Featured speakers included Mufti Mohammad Isayid, who is the Mufit of the Palestinian defense forces, Sheikh Jamal from East Jerusalem, Sheikh Ghassan Manasra (AR International Director), Wisam Sodah of Zababdeh Church, Hanan Shaaban, a local AR coordinator from Nablus, and Mesleh Badawi, Deputy Mayor of Kafr Qassem.

We have just a few days left in our fundraiser until Eid — $100 and you get a T-shirt, $150 and you get 2 t-shirts!

–> Help us fund programs like this that foster connection, communication, cooperation, and deeper understanding as vehicles for real peace in the Holy Land. –>
