Greetings. I’m Reverend Amina Linda Hall.
I’m coming to you as co-chair of the Abrahamic Reunion. We are a small but mighty NGO bringing peacemakers to the Holy Land. These peacemakers bring activities and programs to provide peaceful relations among all the different religious and spiritual and faith traditions that live there.
This year though very difficult we and challenging we have some things to to be sharing success and successful thoughts about. For example, through the violence and chaos, we held a large meal and gathering during Ramadan and we had nearly 300 people there for that meal. These are people from all religious faiths and traditions. We had leaders from all of those traditions. Imams, rabbis, the archbishop and cardinals all sat together. They sat together for hours sharing beliefs, thoughts and considerations of peace.
One of the very big successes of the year is that we brought 12 youth leaders from the Holy Land from Jewish, Christian, Muslim, and Jews traditions. We brought them to Germany away from the violence and the chaos that that these uh youth leaders had lived in. And we did that to address the trauma and the difficulty of living in a war ravaged environment.
At the end of the program, some of the attendees gave some real strong feedback about their experience. One attendee said, “I never thought we could be friends.” And another said, “This program has changed my life. It has instilled and and regained my faith that peace is possible.
Right now, we’re in the process as the Abrahamic reunion of conducting our year-end fundraising. And we need your help. We need your help as volunteers. We need your help to help provide funds.
We’re coming to you because we know that you also believe that peace is possible. But one thing that I know is that love gives peace a voice. It gives a language that enables the truth that peace is possible.
So at this time, this really crucial time, pour your love to help support this essential work. Know that your gift is a gift of love. That it gives peace a voice, a language that speaks to the truth that peace is possible. A gift of love that gives peace a voice. A language that speaks the truth that peace is possible. Thank you.
