Greetings everyone,
We just finished our celebration of the braking of the fast of Ramadan, which is called Iftar, which means the breakfast.
And we had well over 200 people, which is amazing considering that today there were demonstrations all over Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, hundreds of thousands of people coming out and protesting the recent attacks, the recent breaking of the ceasefire.
We had people from the university, young people, women, Professors, Rabbis, Imams, the Druze Sheikhs, beautiful Christian speakers, and we all recognized that we need each other, that the key to our success is in sharing and working together, and never giving up hope, and healing each other, just speaking to each other with love, with consciousness, beautiful things can happen, and did happen.
So, thank you all for sending good thoughts and prayers. If you haven’t supported the Iftar Fundraiser, please do so. Things are difficult here, I find many people experiencing trauma and not knowing it. It’s been a long time since people have experienced quiet and peace here.
Frankly it really made me happy tonight, even though there’s so much not to be happy about, but we were a beacon of light here.
Love to everybody – that’s what connects us, that’s what keeps us alive and together.
Thank you all, thank you for sending good thought and prayers.
Thank you,
David Less
