20th Anniversary Campaign for 20 Legacy Gifts

An olive tree is not planted for today, it is planted for the benefit of future generations.

“You plant a vineyard for your children and an olive grove for your children’s children.” — Jewish saying

Testimonials

Linda Reichert & Mark Putnam, Pennsylvania

“We believe fervently that the work of the Abrahamic Reunion is so critical for peace in Israel and Palestine, so we are supporting the peacemakers with a legacy gift. The work of the AR is helping to ensure a liveable future for future children!”

Rev. Amina Linda Hall

Co-Chair Abrahamic Reunion

I have been a peace-maker most of my life, starting in my early  teens. With this as a central part of my being I can hardly think of a better way to carry that legacy forward than to provide a  gift of bequest  to the Abrahamic Reunion organization. This anchors for the future one truth: Peace is Possible

Neil Rothenberg, PhD, Toronto, Canada

I have been a committed supporter of the Abrahamic Reunion since its formation.  The grassroots peacemaking approach taken by the AR is effective in kindling the peace within all they come into contact with, which will eventually result in peace in the Holy Land.  I view the AR’s work as a very long term project and wanted this work to be part of my legacy and a gift is included in my estate plans.

David Less

Co-Founder and Co-Chair

I’m leaving a legacy gift to the Abrahamic Reunion because, unfortunately, in the future the world is still going to need beautiful people to bring the religions together and overcome the differences. I’m really doing this for my grandchildren, so that they can live in a more peaceful world. Join me, thank you.

What Legacy Will You Leave?

Estate planning provides an important opportunity to consider not only your personal and philanthropic goals, but also the values and legacy you would like to leave for future generations. It’s more than a one-time donation; it is an investment in the future.

Donors of all income levels and financial capabilities can support Abrahamic Reunion through different mediums of legacy giving.

WILLS AND LIVING TRUSTS

The most common type of planned gift is one made through a will or living trust. Your gift can be a designated dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or a residual designation.

.

.

BENEFICIARY DESIGNATION GIFTS

You can make a gift to Abrahamic Reunion through your bank accounts, brokerage accounts or life insurance. A beneficiary designation takes precedence over a bequest.

.

.

IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER

The IRA charitable rollover allows taxpayers age 70.5 years old or older to make tax-free charitable gifts up to $100,000 annually directly from their IRA to Abrahamic Reunion Those 59 years and older can also pull from their IRA, however, donations will be subject to taxes.”

SAMPLE LANGUAGE FOR LEGAL DOCUMENTS

“I give (specific amount or asset, percentage of estate, or the residual of my estate) to Abrahamic Reunion(Tax ID: 47-2716678) to be used according to the most recently signed gift agreement on file at Abrahamic Reunion.”
